Ron DiFrancesco bliver ramt af en stor ildkugle lige før eller mens tårnet imploderer. På det tidspunkt befinder han sig i gadeplan, i nærheden af WTC-2.
Man må næsten formode at ildkuglen rammer ham som optakt til tårnets implodering. Han siger også at han blev ramt af ildkuglen og hørte derefter en høj larm. Larmen stammer givetvis fra tårnet der starter sin forvandling, hvilket bl.a. involverede bombesprængninger fra tag til kælder.
Igen - et klassisk tegn på en kontrolleret demolering.

Der har været givetvis igen været en eller flere mindre eksplosioner i WTC, som er druknet i larmen.
